Gameplay

Cash-O-Matic seems keen to honour the classic fruit machine, yet has a lot of modern elements. The grid structure is not conventional and you won’t find classic slot game symbols on the reels either. The classic feel is implied by the old-school cash register that is part of the grid. The slot has a few interesting features. However the game doesn’t contain the slot stable feature wild symbol, which might make forming a winning combination a bit more of a challenge. The gemstone symbols resemble those of other NetEnt games like Starburst and Dazzle me. The five different gemstones on Cash-O-Matic all have different colours and are the higher value symbol. Special Features

Reverse Avalanche

The Avalanche feature is also called the Cascading feature and entails that symbols fall rather than spin into place. In the regular Avalanche feature the symbols of winning combination disappear to make way for new symbols to give you an extra win chance in the same round. With the Reverse Avalanche mechanism the opposite happens: the winning combination stays in place and all other symbols disappear to make room for another winning combination while the reels cascade again.

Level Multiplier

Cash-O-Matic has multipliers of different values that are linked to different levels. Every time you fill a full row with winning symbols you are awarded a multiplier. Scatter Symbols

Free Spins

Once Free Spins mode is activated you are awarded 1 free round for every Scatter you have collected. This means you will have a minimum of 10 free spins. Verdict

Although sufficiently pleasing to the eye, Cash-O-Matic’s visuals seem rather basic and due to its rather simple design the game has a retro feel. Special game features might be few, they are quite innovative. The game puts the popular Avalanche feature on its head by reversing the mechanism and thanks to the multiplier ladder the game has great win potential. It’s not that easy to form wins, however. The game has no Wild symbols that can lend a helping hand forming winning combinations and the lucrative Free Spins round is a challenge to trigger. Cash-O-Matic is a high variance slot and would especially interesting to high-rollers and other high volatility slot lovers who love videoslots with a classic feel yet don’t mind innovative game mechanics.
