The very celebrated EGR Marketing and Innovation awards 2018 took place on June 20th at Hurlingham Club, London. And as expected, the online gaming awards were eccentric and full of surprises. Here is everything that went down.

The EGR Awards are designed to atone for any marketing initiative and/or outstandingly innovative products in the industry. The awards are for any casino operator that has developed market-shaping products and services. It is all about who has the most original and effective execution for the past 12 months.

And The Winners Are…

The EGR Marketing and Innovation Awards 2018 was grand. The world’s best online gaming firms gathered to celebrate operational and commercial achievements in the industry. The annual ceremony saw a total of 20 awards handed out throughout the afternoon. Hosted by comedian Alun Cochrane, the event was nothing less of lively.

Among the winners was Mr Green Casino, which scooped ‘Casino Campaign of the Year 2018.’ This is no surprise, as Mr Green is one of the major casinos in the industry. Mr Green scooped the awards for their successful Christmas Calendar campaign. The campaign focused on the players’ preferences instead of the classic bonus offer.

“ Every year in December, all Casino operators bring their best game to attract the most players to their platform…Being recognised for our creativity and ability to entertain in a relevant way did not go unnoticed by our players…We are happy to see it also appealed to the EGR jury.”

–    Jesper Karrbrick, Chief Executive Mr Green Ltd.

LeoVegas one of the biggest winners of the day

Gambling giant Betsson Group, with brands such as Betsson, Betsafe, CasinoEuro and more bagged the Mobile Marketing Campaign of the year against Kindred Group and LeoVegas Casino.

Swedish operator, LeoVegas was among the biggest winners of the day.  The Stockholm-based casino bagged awards for Innovation in Mobile & Tablet, Affiliate Marketing Campaign and the coveted Brand of the Year.
